This quilt is Lynn Wilder’s tribute to the brave women of the 1930’s American Depression Era. The sashing represents the Packhorse Librarians traveling along trails and paths in the mountains of Kentucky delivering books and spreading literacy to remote areas during the 1930’s. Lynn will share comprehensive tutorials and a story each month on her blog.  There will also be free monthly videos for each of the block components on her website and we will have a facebook group to share tips, tricks and you can share your progress!  High-quality quilter’s cotton prints will be used and any fabric substitutions needed after the program starts will match as closely to the photo as possible.  The quilt will finish at 98"x98".

During the 12 month program, you will receive the pattern and fabrics necessary to complete the quilt top, including border and binding.  Our program will begin in October 2023. There is a non-refundable registration fee of $10, then just $29.95 a month.  If not picking up local, there will be a $4.95 monthly shipping fee.

The pattern for this project is only available through the Block of the Month Program and the matching backing fabric will be available January 2024.
